The Taipei Representative Office in Italy and the United States Embassy in Italy jointly organized an International Workshop on "Defending Democracy through Countering Disinformation" under the Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF). This was the first time that a GCTF event is held in Italy. By sharing the experiences of Taiwan, the United States, Italy, and the European Union in combating disinformation and effective countermeasure mechanisms.
