Taiwan, US, Japan, Australia stage GCTF seminar in New York to promote UN SDGs

To underscore Taiwan's steadfast commitment to global sustainable development through strategic collaboration in the Indo-Pacific region, Taiwan, in partnership with the United States, Japan, and Australia, hosted the "GCTF Seminar on Building an Inclusive, Resilient, and Secure Indo-Pacific through Partnership for SDGs Acceleration" during the 78th United Nations General Assembly on September 21, 2023, in New York.

 

Ambassador James K. J. Lee, the Director-General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York, underscored the importance of stability in the Indo-Pacific for global economic and security advancement. He reiterated Taiwan's dedication to serving as a constructive partner in global sustainable development, leveraging the GCTF platform and fostering collaborations with like-minded partners to share expertise and contribute meaningfully to the realization of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
